09 Mar HC/RC load cells for structural monitoring
To control and monitor the stability of structures like bridges, walls or similar, load cells can be used. Tie-rods and moorings of this kind of structures are subject to load variation, which can be measured using load cells. Tie-rods and moorings are used to anchor the structure to the land, ensuring their stability. Load cells installed on them allow to verify pressure and force on tie-rods, because they can be affected by land movements.
S2Tech offer series HC/RC load cells, charcaterized by a central hole and a low profile. They are available with different measuring ranges, up to 50 Ton. HC/RC load cells are adequately protected with rubbers and siliconic protections, to guarantee IP65 environmental protection. It allows to use the transducers in external environments with difficult conditions.
